Partnering with God #3

Dear Church Family and Friends,

Please bring your completed Motivational Gifts Assessment form (filled out two weeks ago) with you AGAIN this Sunday! We will be planning on using these results during the ministry time to discover how God has created us and fit us together in the body of Christ. The motivational gifts are spiritual gifts that reveal how we are created and energized to love and minister one to another.

We also will be having a fellowship meal this coming Sunday! Please bring a dish of food (or two) to share with others! Our fellowship meals are a wonderful opportunity to get to know others in the body of Christ! Following the meal, I want to share a leadership report including results of the Feedback forms and plans for Easter (Resurrection) Sunday.

For those of you who get the Crozette Gazette be sure and look on page two for our Easter ad! Please start to invite friends and neighbors now! Invitation cards are available on the entry table for this purpose!

Last Sunday was amazing! Six or seven people shared wonderful testimonies during the testimony time! It was so good to hear what God is doing among His people! The time of testimony was so amazing that there was no formal sermon. Nevertheless, the Word of God was proclaimed! This is New Testament Christianity!

God is always blessing, saving and healing. When we share our testimony, God is lifted up and faith grows in us! This is how presence-based community operates; “… When you come together, each one has a hymn, a lesson, a revelation, a tongue, or an interpretation. Let all things be done for building up..” (1 Corinthians 14:26) When the church gathers, it’s not just one person who ministers. In a presence based community we are all ministers and each one of us has a gift that builds up the others!

Ok, Let’s try this again… This Sunday I will be planning to share about: Partnering with God. In the Bible God continually invites His people to partner with Him to reveal His glory on the earth! Jesus said: “Truly I tell you, what ever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” (Matt 18:18.) Jesus also told his disciples; “You may ask for anything – in my name – and I will do it!” (John 14:14. Yielding to God creates a heart that is able to listen, hear, and lovingly partner with God, supernaturally revealing his plan and purposes on the earth!

Hearing God’s Voice Class will start Thursday, April 12th! This class is one of the best courses on how to hear the voice of God! If you want to clearly hear God speaking to you personally – THIS CLASS IS FOR YOU! This class personally changed my life because it is not just learning ABOUT how to hear God, but it is actually practicing hearing and seeing in the Spirit. It is also the first class that was not “spooky” or difficult! Sign-up for the class today using the sign-up sheet in the entryway!

Remember that the church is open EVERY THURSDAY from 8am- 5pm for worship and prayer. As we discussed “abiding” (worship, meditation and prayer) is one of the vital aspects of a presence-based community! It is our goal as a church to have individuals or groups gathering at the church 24/7, 365 days a year! This building a set apart as a place to encounter and commune with God!

We have a volunteer to help with AV ministry! Sonny Sims will be sitting the AV booth this Sunday to see if it is something that he is interested in doing! Thanks for serving the Body of Christ Sonny!

See you Sunday!
